As the Oak Grove Foundation developed a presence in our community, several donors approached the original board with an interest in sponsoring our school.  When asked what we wanted, that question was tough to answer....WE WANT EVERYTHING!

The teachers, the Foundation board and school leadership concluded we needed a long term master plan for Oak Grove Elementary School if we wanted to attract big pocketed donors.  The Foundation hired a professional consultant and since September of 2010, parents and teachers have given input and time to develop a strategic plan for our school.

The plan is the result of focus groups with parents and teachers, parent surveys, teacher Saturday working sessions and parent/teacher working sessions.  The final document is posted to the right. 

This document will provide a blueprint for the long and short term future of Oak Grove. This lasting framework will ot only contribute to our children's educational experience, but also to the value of our community as a whole as we work to nurture Oak Grove Elementary into the finest academic and cultural experience in Georgia.
